Lost Creek Community Association is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led group of local citizens, who are eager to make a difference in our community. You can contact one of the Directors to learn more and attend our community meeting. Anyone interested in bettering the community can be a member. The executive committee is elected annually and bi-annually. Participation in sub-committees is voluntary and based on the interests and abilities of our members.
Our association is being well received in and around the community and we are gaining momentum in achieving our first goal – A children’s playgroundon the parkland between Heatherglen Drive and Kinsac Road.
This parcel of land is owned by HRM and designated parkland as part of the subdivision process. In other words, we have the land already. We just need to do the work required to develop it.

It’s so nice to see that Lost Creek is finally working towards a park for the kids. We lived in Lost Creek for three years during which time we asked the municipality, the community representatives, including the planner from the HRM about the prospects and the future of the park and was told it was years off into the future. While we may not be there in person, we are there in spirit, and hope that the families that commit their time and energies into making it a thriving community come together to build it into just that. Glad to see that people like Jay and Paula Clarke and Chris and Nancy Marks are involved and working towards bringing life to the community for the families. We know how much work goes into building communities. it takes a lot of ambition and perseverence. Best to you all. Shelley & Paul
